You don’t have to be an Alpine skier to enjoy a winter holiday in the Kronplatz area. Other options include an easy cross-country ski trail through the snowy meadows around Reischach, the Korer toboggan run and the ice rink in the sports park in Reischach.
A ride on the cable car will take you to a hiking paradise with a view of the Dolomites. There are plenty of trails and paths on Mt. Kronplatz, from the pram-friendly family trail to the Concordia 360° panoramic tour. Close by, the Dolomites offer thrilling challenges for ambitious mountaineers and climbers.
If spectacular mountain trails are what you are after, the Kronplatz Bike Park offers you 17. This paradise for downhillers, freeriders and electric bike fans is easily reached by cable car. For those who prefer to take it easy, there are leisurely cycle paths leading all the way to East Tyrol in Austria or to the Tauferer Ahrntal valley in gentle, unchallenging ups and downs.
Here in Reischach, there is simply no space for boredom: zip lines, high ropes and playgrounds in the woods offer plenty of adventures in the warm season, while winter is all about ski kindergartens, snow-tubing and tobogganing.

The Messner Mountain Museum Corones, dedicated to the theme of mountaineering, is twice the attraction with its impressive building designed by architect star Zaha Hadid. It is located just a few steps from LUMEN, another museum dedicated to mountain photography. MMM Corones is one of six museums created by famous mountaineer Reinhold Messner to present the mountain world in its various facets. Of them is housed at Castle Bruneck, and easily reached from our holiday apartments.
